Mercedes-Benz. A brand that is synonymous with quality and elegance. When Hoffman & Žižák, the largest dealer of stock vehicles, decided that it needed not only a showroom but also offices of the same standard, it chose CAPEXUS. And it was no coincidence – recommendations, a personal approach, and our experience with Mercedes Trucks played into everyone's hands.
From the past to the future
The original offices served their purpose for many years. However, the company grew and changed, and it was necessary for the facilities to meet today's demands. The new premises were therefore created with an emphasis on elegance, timelessness, and a representative atmosphere that matches the prestige of the Mercedes-Benz brand while remaining welcoming to employees and customers alike.
The project presented a unique challenge: to connect the passenger car showroom, truck service center, and administrative facilities. Each part has its own character and rules. Our task was to harmonize them into a coherent whole.
The client placed great emphasis on quality and detail. The selection of equipment was therefore carried out with the utmost care – various samples were tested, and materials and designs were fine-tuned. The result is a space that appears graceful, high-quality, and distinctive, without ostentatious gestures.
Colors that play
The entire interior is interwoven with various shades of blue – a subtle reminder of Mercedes, which does not, however, overshadow the identity of Hoffman & Žižák.
Furniture also plays a significant role. Standard pieces are complemented by atypical elements, such as a custom-made reception desk or conference table. Noteworthy furniture brands include ACTIU, AW, La Cividina, and Softline.
A wave of green
Because nature has its place even in the automotive world, the interior features a green wall in the kitchenette and solitary plants. They bring freshness to the space and provide a pleasant contrast to the technical environment of the showroom.
When art meets Mercedes
For a project for Mercedes-Benz, CAPEXUS teamed up with the Artist’s Hero platform to give the office interior a soul – an artistic one. Original works by Czech artists now adorn the reception area, meeting rooms, and relaxation zones, where they discreetly (but confidently) complement the elegance of the three-star brand.
The collaboration went hand in hand with our
architects – from curatorial selection to designs to the actual installation. The result? A space that not only works but also inspires and pleases the eye of anyone with even the slightest sense of design.
Precision with a human touch
For Hoffman & Žižák, balance was key—the offices had to be representative, but at the same time unpretentious. That's why we looked for a way to combine professional design, a pleasant atmosphere, and practicality. The result is an environment that supports business while also being a good place to work and live.
