Lindt: Premium Offices Inspired by the World of Chocolate

How do you bring the identity of one of the world's best-known chocolate brands into an office without creating an overly themed or literal interior?
For Lindt's new offices in Prague's City Tower, we chose to express the brand primarily through atmosphere. Bronze and gold tones, creamy shades, natural materials, soft organic lines and subtly textured surfaces create a premium workplace that evokes the world of Lindt through feeling rather than obvious references
The result is a simple, elegant and timeless interior where a representative character meets comfort and a welcoming atmosphere for everyday work.

Lindt's Identity Hidden in the Details

Lindt's strong visual identity was both an advantage and a challenge during the design process. The aim was not to fill the space with logos, bold colours or obvious references to chocolate. Instead, we translated the brand into the interior through associations, materials, colours and shapes.
The design is built around a neutral palette of white, cream and beige, complemented by natural wood, greenery and subtle gold and bronze accents. Curved partitions and soft lines break up the conventional geometry of an office, while textured and gently embossed surfaces subtly evoke the world of chocolate.
More specific references reveal themselves only on closer inspection. Some details draw inspiration from Lindt's iconic chocolates, while elsewhere the brand identity is incorporated into bespoke acoustic panels.
This restraint is precisely what prevents the interior from feeling like a brand showroom. Instead, it creates a natural workplace whose character remains unmistakably connected to Lindt.

“What I particularly enjoyed about the Lindt project was that we didn’t have to force the brand into the space. Its identity is so strong that we could simply work with subtle associations – softness, rounded shapes, textures and colours that evoke the world of chocolate. For me, the most interesting moment is when someone walks into the office and immediately feels that they’re at Lindt, without necessarily being able to explain why.”
The Community Area as the Heart of the Office

One of the key spaces in the new offices is the community area, which serves as a natural social hub for the entire workplace.
Soft seating, greenery, natural materials and café-inspired elements create a more relaxed atmosphere. The space is not intended solely for a quick break during the working day. It also provides room for informal meetings, collaboration or simply a moment to unwind.
Employees are therefore not limited to their desks and traditional meeting rooms. Throughout the day, they can choose different settings depending on whether they need to focus, collaborate with their team or meet colleagues informally.
This choice and variety of environments have become important qualities of contemporary offices – and one of the reasons people choose to
Furniture Designed Around Simplicity and Timelessness
We applied the same approach to furniture as we did to the architecture. The client had high expectations regarding quality, attention to detail and the overall aesthetic, and close collaboration across the project team resulted in a solution that naturally complements the overall office concept.

The furniture combines natural wood with a neutral palette of white, cream and beige. Without strong colour accents, the materials, proportions and individual details can take centre stage. The overall effect is calm, elegant and timeless, rather than driven by short-lived trends.
The individual areas were furnished with products from Andreu World, LaCividina, Noti, MDD, TON and Actiu.
A bespoke conference table combining Actiu's Twist base with an unconventional trapezoidal tabletop featuring rounded corners was also created for the space.
The combination of high-quality standard furniture and elements adapted specifically to the space helped create a cohesive interior, from the reception area through to individual offices and meeting rooms.

When Acoustics Become Part of the Design
Creating a comfortable acoustic environment for meetings, focused work, collaboration and informal gatherings was another important part of the design.
Acoustic solutions are therefore not treated merely as technical additions. They form an integral part of the office's visual concept.
Götessons wall-mounted acoustic treatments and EcoCero wall and suspended acoustic panels help create a more comfortable sound environment. Some of the panels were also customised with motifs associated with Lindt – from the logo to a stylised chocolate praline.
A functional element thus becomes a subtle expression of the brand's identity.
Muuto lighting in the kitchenette further enhances its softer and more informal character.

An Office Designed with Chocolate in Mind

The company's distinctive character influenced not only the architecture and design, but also the technical solution.
The new offices include a separate temperature-controlled room specifically designed for storing chocolate. This dedicated "chocolate room" requires stable conditions and enhanced thermal insulation.
The fit-out also brought other technical challenges. For example, the sprinkler layout had to be carefully coordinated with the slatted ceiling so that all elements aligned precisely with its grid.
Premium Without Ostentation

Lindt's new offices bring together two worlds. On one side is a representative environment worthy of a premium brand; on the other are comfort, natural materials, greenery and informality, preventing the workplace from feeling either austere or overly corporate.
Here, a premium feel is not created through an abundance of bold features or visual extravagance. It comes from the quality of materials, carefully considered details, precise execution and the way architecture, furniture, lighting and acoustics work together.
Lindt's identity does not need to announce itself loudly. It is present in the colours, textures, soft shapes and details that often reveal themselves only on closer inspection. The result is an office that is unmistakably Lindt - without having to say so out loud.
