Some 100,000 m² in office space to be finished in Prague in 2011

In the last quarter of 2010, the total stock of office space in Prague topped 2.7 million m², according to data from Prague Research Forum (PRF), which comprises CB Richard Ellis, Colliers International, Cushman & Wakefield, DTZ, Jones Lang LaSalle and King Sturge. Class A office space accounted for 68% of this, with the remainder consisting of class B office space. In Q4 2010, three small office buildings were finalised in Prague, namely the building CEZ (4,000 m²), the reconstruction of the building Budejovicka 1 (5,000 m²) and Havlickova Plaza (over 2,100 m²). In total, some 42,000 m² in office space was completed in Prague in the whole of 2010 and a total of 100,000 m² in office space is expected to be completed in 2011 in Prague, according to PRF. In total, some 214,000 m² in office space was leased in Prague in 2010, with the Prague 4 and Prague 8 districts accounting for the largest shares of the leased space.
